Junior Designers (2-3 years experience).
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Strong design, presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Revit (preferred) AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Rhino.
- Experience in construction document preparation.
- Rendering experience in Maxwell preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters of Architecture.
- You must be available to work in New York City immediately.

Van Dijk Architects/International are a growing, design-focussed, client-centred architectural & Project Management practice based in Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland but engaged in work all over the country. The practice are looking for an experienced Senior Project Architect to join our Friendly Team working on both large and small scale projects in multi-disciplinary teams. The position will offer opportunity for promotion within a busy, energetic and supportive practice, for motivated and attentive professionals. Experience in AutoCAD Revit would be beneficial but not essential. VDA proactively encourage Continuous Professional Development (CPD) including skills training and mentoring for all of our staff.
Fully qualified Architect with over 6 Years post graduate experience with proven experience in preparation of construction drawings, tender packages, a working knowledge of the planning procedures, current building regulations and building contracts. This position is based in Ireland but the candidate must be willing to travel to the Middle East on an occasional basis.
Ideally applicants should have:
- The ability to formulate design decisions and present them for discussion.
- High level of design and technical sills, problem solving abilities and flexibility.
- Good interpersonal skills who can work independently and as part of an effective team, who can build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- Must be resilient, with excellent organisational skills. We require someone who can prioritise duties, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently, while remaining professional at all times.
