The opportunity:
RS&H's Denver office was established in 2006 and provides professional architecture, design and engineering services to the Colorado market. Our clients include financial services, corporate and regional headquarters, retail, health and science. We are growing and are currently searching for a licensed and experienced architect with a strong background in commercial architecture.
- Manage multiple aspects of client, project coordination, and general contractors including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants.
- Actively work on drawings with various software programs listed under qualifications.
- Manage client relationships and team communication.
- Manage junior studio team members work and processes.
- Develop and expand client base on assigned accounts.
- Resolve complex technical and design issues.
- Maintain the project manual and specifications.
- Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews.
- Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction.
- Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with 7-10 years post graduate relevant experience as an architect with a strong background in commercial and retail buildings and interior architecture. Project experience in financial, health, and/or science sectors a plus.
- Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants.
- Experience resolving complex technical and design issues.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCad ADT, Sketch Up, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of how buildings are constructed and ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly and accurately describe the work to be done.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
- Leed Accreditation preferred.

- Fluency in English.
