Fresson & Tee is a forward thinking, multi-disciplinary practice of chartered surveyors and property consultants in King’s Cross, central London. Due to our increasing workload, we are looking for talented individuals to join the architectural team working on commercial and developer led residential projects.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Riba Part 2 qualified with at least four years’ full-time experience.
- Riba Part 3 /ARB registered with at least two years’ full-time experience.
- Proven experience with refurbishment work in urban locations, interiors and sensitive/heritage buildings in particular.
- Ability to work at all RIBA stages.
- Commercial central London experience ideal, with repeat clients and portfolio management-type work.
- Ability to work on a mixture of different scaled projects simultaneously.
- Have a good eye for quality design, detail and its implementation.
- Knowledge of UK construction on-site, its application in office work/documentation and vice versa.
- Ability to work in a larger team of consultants, including planners, agents, engineers and surveyors.
- Required to adapt and fulfil roles typical of a flexible small practice.
- Be methodical and organised with work following a tight programme and with regards to contract administration.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, in verbal, written and drawn media.
- Fluent English with eloquent writing skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2016, Photoshop CC/Elements, Revit, and NBS Create.

Responsibilities:
- Lead clients and project team through the entire process of Concept, Schematic, and Design Development.
- Lead design presentations to clients and government authorities.
- Work closely with Principals and Project Architect.
- Candidate should be available for domestic travel.
- Mentor junior designers.
- Support marketing and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters in Architecture.
- Architectural licensure is preferred.
- 10+ years of diverse commercial architectural design experience.
- Ability to express concept via computer-generated graphics and hand-sketching.
- Strong conceptual and schematic design skills.
- Strong verbal presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing client needs.
- Proficient in 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Powerpoint.
