We are currently accepting resumes for smart, creative, and motivated Interior Architects to work as part of a project team through all phases of design and construction focused on the interior architecture and interior design.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Participate in design, development, detailing, documentation and construction administration of project interiors.
- Interface with relevant consultants and vendors.
- Source and provide quality material options for specific projects.
- Prepare finishes and fixtures schedules including furniture specifications.
Key attributes:
- Minimum 3 plus years related experience since obtaining first professional degree.
- Strong design skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong technical skills including proficiency with AutoCAD, Graphic programs including Sketchup, VRay, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and Excel; Revit knowledge a plus.
- Skills in interior space planning, drawing furniture plans, sourcing and specifying FF&E and finishes.
- Ability to work well as part of a project team.
- Leed accredited preferred.
- Ability to contribute to all phases of a project from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
A London based interior and architectural design company made up of a dynamic team of thirty-five designers are seeking a Luxury Interior Designer to join their flourishing practice, working around the world. Their signature projects include distinctive and high-end residential commissions, restaurant and hotel interiors. They also have a specialist division responsible for bespoke assignments, including the interior design on some of the world’s most iconic homes and super-yachts.
Key day-to-day tasks of the Luxury Interior Designer include:
- Supporting the Senior designers and reporting to both Seniors and Associates in the development and documentation of all design information for assigned projects.
- Initially the role will be working on the design development and drawing documentation of a luxury high rise residential new-build development in NY.
- Attending meetings, planning work, responding promptly to Client requests.
Key attributes of the Luxury Interior Designer include:
- 4-5 years post qualification or equal.
- Minimum 3 years UK experience of all project stages.
- AutoCAD and / or Microstation skills essential.
- Knowledge of US design codes and experience of working in Imperial measurement units is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of interior detailing and buildability.
- Must be a client-facing team player capable of dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge and sympathy for high-end interiors preferable.
- Ability to confidently work with a wider external design team of consultants and contractors where required.
- Experience in putting together Tender package documentation including technical specifications.
- Must work well in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Ability / willingness to draw accurately and quickly while clearly communicating design intent.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Excellent spoken English.
