NKB is accepting applications for a full-time designer to join our team in Syracuse, New York.
Responsibilities include:
- Work as a member of the team to understand and translate clients project needs and requirements into project designs such as drawings, specifications, code requirements, cost estimates, reports.
- Assist with the production of contract documents.
- Perform basic site observations such as recording existing conditions and construction progress.
- Assist with construction administration phase services and activities.
- Assist with general office and administrative tasks.
- Occasional local or out-of-town project related travel is required for project assignments.
Requirements include:
- 2-5 years of experience as an Intern Designer.
- Bachelor or Masters of Architecture.
- Skill in the development of projects through production of construction documents.
- Skills in BIM, CADD, Excel, Word, and Adobe publishing software programs.
- Proficiency in Revit preferred.
- Professional & technical writing proficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Architect to join the London Architecture team to work on residential schemes across London, focusing on low to medium rise housing designs often in suburban or Greenfield locations. The team focuses on design oriented approach and work takes place from early stage studies through to full planning applications. Clientele include landowners, bespoke local developers, Registered Providers and national house builders.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working on UK, specifically London, residential schemes, have an interest in and an enthusiasm for masterplanning and detailing housing developments in the UK and excellent technical skills. Key softwares used are AutoCAD / Photoshop / InDesign / Sketchup.
