FSI Architecture PC is seeking a well-rounded Junior Architect with 2-4 years office experience with residential, commercial and institutional projects. We are looking for a talented individual with the ability to work both independently in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a project team.
Excellent project management and communication skills are essential. Strong organizational and technical skills are required, specifically in the fields of restoration and preservation.
Candidate MUST have:
- Bachelor of Architecture (five year degree) from accredited University.
- Strong AutoCAD skills (must be proficient).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, and a cooperative attitude.
- Knowledge of Revit as well as other 3D digital technology programs such as Sketch Up and Rhino.
- Knowledge in management tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required).
- Interest and desire to work with other team members on all phases of a project from pre design through construction administration.
- Licensed or IDP candidate strongly preferred.
- Keen interest in preservation and restoration, willing to train the right individual.
- Familiarity with Building Science.
- Familiarity with Facade Inspection & Safety Program requirements.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Survey of Existing Building Conditions.
- Preparing Technical Reports.
- Preparation of Drawing and Specifications for public and private bidding.
- Relationship building and communication directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.

Nick Joyce Architects Ltd is a Worcester based practice operating throughout the Midlands and beyond, well known for working on small and medium sized projects – residential, commercial and church buildings - with a strong bias to conservation and heritage.
We are looking for an architect with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience and a passion for the heritage. AABC or Riba Conservation accreditation would be an advantage, but not essential. You will be expected to work the full range of services having both design flair and competence to prepare working drawings.
