A busy architectural Practice, specialising in conservation is seeking an experienced architect with AABC accreditation or must be willing to become AABC accredited. CAD and drawing skills are essential.
The Revit Designer will support the Mixed Use Studio and will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Architects and Design team to create exemplary buildings to suit clients’ and users’ needs.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include drafting in Revit, picking up redlines, design tasks as part of a larger design team, and quality assurance for drawings.
- Generate details, both exterior and interior within a Revit context; Production.
- Develops, checks and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project.
- Construction Administration experience a plus.
- Ability to prioritize assignments.
- Able to work on CDs of public spaces.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture is required.
- Minimum 8 ears of experience with Retail and Mixed projects.
- Leed accreditation a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, consultants and clients.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Must be highly proficient in Revit.
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision Software a plus.
- 3D modeling and presentation skills a plus.
- AutoCAD and Sketch-up a plus understanding also needed.
- Must be a team player and exhibit good interpersonal skills.
