UXUS is looking for a Project Director with a strong Architectural background and a minimum of ten years' experience to join its Amsterdam office.
Job description:
- Working as part of an international multidisciplinary project management team (retail, hospitality and branding).
- Working closely with design team to present outlined design concepts, design development and detailing, production, implementation, and construction information.
- Manage large global retail, corporate, hospitality and brand identity projects and clients.
- Ensure all project phases are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee a team of 7 drafters.
Typical tasks:
- Create and execute project work plans.
- Work closely with traffic manager to assign resource.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of a project and scope.
- Prepare internal reviews with project team and quality assurance procedures.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Consult and liaise closely with client, design and third party project management teams.
- Manage outside consultants and trades throughout all project phases.
- Prepare and monitor fee proposals, cost plans, and project milestones.
- Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, project set-up with sub-consultants, vendors and contractors.
- Prepare all supporting communications/reporting documentation for effective project management.
- Able to read and review CAD drawings.

We are seeking to hire a talented entry level Interiors Intern to intermediate level Interior Designer with 0-5 years of experience. Candidate must have strong design and graphic skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects in varying stages as part of a project team and also individually.
Responsibilities include all project phases including Programming, Concept Design, Construction Documentation and Construction / Contract Administration and interfacing directly with clients and consultants. PGAL offers an integrated studio environment with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types including corporate, aviation, civic, education, justice, mixed-use, and hospitality.
AutoCAD and/or Revit proficiency is required and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch-Up are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with Revit proficiency. Leed ap designation is a plus.
