OBM International (OBMI) has exciting opportunities for talented, self-motivated and design-conscious Architects to work in several of our offices (Antigua, Bermuda, B.V.I. & Cayman Islands). Successful candidates will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience including commercial, institutional, residential, and hospitality/resort projects. Successful candidates will also be required to assist the other island offices with project deliverables and be available to travel to the same offices from time to time.
We seek individuals with excellent design, technical, presentation, client management and communication skills as well as strong project management and problem solving abilities. Knowledge of LEED (or similar programs) and an interest in achieving sustainable environmental solutions are highly desirable. Professional degree required. Candidates with professional license/registration and membership to Riba, Raic, Saia, AIA, OAA or similar.

Working experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, M.S. Office skills are required. We have an immediate opening for an architect with four to seven years experience to join our team.
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn about construction means and methods, materials, and the development process, in a variety of contexts. We are construction-focused and do no designing.
Primary responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of 12-15 on-going construction projects.
- Performing pre-construction feasibility and cost studies.
- Assisting senior staff with acquisition due-diligence assessments.
Project types include multi-family, office, industrial, hotel, and retail, with typical construction values of $10 to $50 million.
Requirements:
- Five-year professional degree, state licensure, and four to seven years experience.
- Experience and/or career focus in construction administration.
- Able to work effectively with bankers, developers, and owners.
- Clear and effective thinking and writing.
- Available for frequent travel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
