Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture from accredited college/university.
- Previous architectural office experience.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in hospitality and lifestyle-oriented projects.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills.
- Professional licensure and Leed certification, or demonstrated path towards completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit and Sketchup.

With offices in Nottingham and Kent, Rayner Davies Architects undertake a wide range of projects in the residential, commercial and healthcare sectors.
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Architect to join our Nottingham office at the earliest opportunity.
The position will initially be as an assistant to project architects, providing additional technical expertise. It is likely that longer term the position will become that of a job running project architect.
Excellent IT skills are essential. We currently use AutoCAD, supplemented with Photoshop and Sketchup.
Candidates must have:
- A passion for contemporary design.
- UK-based post part 3 experience.
- Confidence in coordinating contractors and consultants, and supervising junior staff.
- First class communication and people management skills.
- Good team player.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Strong ability to handle multitasking situations in periods with a high level of pace.
- Sound knowledge of technical construction and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Standards.
- Experience of both Design and Build and Traditional forms of procurement will be required.
- A professional command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
