We are seeking a full-time architect or designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our office. The ideal candidate will work closely with principals on multiple projects on all project phases from conceptual design through construction.
Requirements:
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite required; 3d modeling and rendering abilities are a plus.
- Experience with construction documentation and familiarity with the NYC DOB permitting process.
- Good communication skills.
- Well-organized, nimble, and able to prioritize.
- Candidates must be a US citizen or hold a US work visa.

C+GA is a 40 person firm specializing in sustainable and socially responsible design, with a mix of exciting multi-family residential (market rate and affordable), cultural, planning, institutional and educational projects in the NYC area.
C+GA is currently seeking a candidate for Architect / Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably with NYC exeperience, for design of an exciting complex of residential and communty buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sustainable multi-family residential and institutional projects, from feasibility through construction administration.
- Maintain primary contact and interface with client and consulting team.
- Coordinate design and production of all phases, schematic design, design development and construction documents, including supervision of the project team.
- Manage bid period and construction administration services, including site visits and coordination with the owner and potential public agency (ies).

- Familiarity with Building Codes and NYC Zoning Resolution a plus.
- US Architectural registration preferred.
- Leed Certification a plus.
- Excellent English language communication and client interface skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employee sponsorship.
