Our US based client has an immediate career opportunity in Macau, CN for a licensed Architect that has a background in Hospitality project management.
Job responsibilities:
- Day‐to‐day client contact for major clients in Hong Kong & Macau or the region.
- Team leader responsible for assigning tasks and managing the daily work flow of the project
team.
- Assist with business development objectives in Macau and the region.
- Lead collaboration role with US design team.
The successful candidate will have:
- 10+ years relevant experience in the gaming and/or hospitality design field.
- A valid professional license to practice architecture.
- Strong written, verbal and quantitative communication skills.
- Excellent graphic skills including the ability to space plan in client workshops.
- Fluency in English.
Additional criteria:
- While not required, previous work experience in Macau & Hong Kong is desirable.
- Relocation to Macau required.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are talented level 1 or 2 designers with strong communication and design skills. Ideal candidate will be a well-spoken, organized individual capable of multi-tasking. Applicants should be thorough and detail-oriented, with ability to oversee multiple short- and long-term tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Graduated with M.Arch.
- Demonstrated introductory level of knowledge and abilities in documentation, design, technology, and architectural history.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino and Vray Rendering programs, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and After Effects.
- Proficiency in other 3D modeling and rendering programs desired.
- Fluent in Mandarin, preferred.
Summary:
- Performs work on basic defined segments of a project, under continuous interaction with supervisor.
- Contributes to general preparation of design and construction documents and models.
- Exhibits understanding of basic building materials, details, and construction techniques, along with general project design philosophy relating to assigned work.
- Performs basic documentation and presentation work, including details.
