We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a junior position that will lead into the position on Project Manager and Design Architect. Applicants must hold a degree in architecture, and have several years relevant full-time experience in the industry. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational abilities, and a self-motivated, energetic, and cooperative approach are essential. Candidates with proficiency in Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite are preferred. Applicants must be fluent in both spoken and written English. Responsibilities are to involve all facets of project design and administration. Salary for the position will be commensurate with experience, and compensation includes healthcare insurance and vacation time.

Rodney Melville and Partners are an Architectural Practice who specialise in the repair and conservation of historic buildings and the design of new buildings in historic settings. Based in Leamington Spa, with offices in Bristol, the Practice works on a range of exciting and high-profile historic building projects around the country. We are a medium sized, friendly organisation with a strong team ethic and a strong commitment to high-quality design.
We are currently seeking talented Architects to join both our head office in Leamington Spa and our office in Bristol, to be part of a growing team. Successful candidates will be UK registered, with proven experience in managing building projects. Conservation experience is preferred, however, support will be given to the right candidate to progress towards AABC or Riba Conservation accreditation.
Candidates should have an interest in historic building repair works, a good eye for new design and the ability to oversee projects from conception through to completion.
Desirable skills include:
- Proficiency in CAD (particularly VectorWorks, although training will be given).
- A working knowledge of In-Design, 3D modelling and Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work as part of a team, but with the motivation to lead when necessary.
- The flexibility to travel widely between projects, ranging from Yorkshire to the South Coast.
