The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting, complex and challenging projects with exposure to all project phases from liaising with clients and consultants through to design, documentation and project delivery. You will be able to find technically sound solutions to support and deliver design excellence.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 5 years project delivery experience in sectors such as commercial / education / civic / community/ healthcare.
- Ideally be a Registered Architect.
- Be a team player, and willing to participate in a vibrant and creative studio culture.
- Have demonstrated skills that cover the complete process from concept to project delivery.
- Have good communication skills and be able to manage and coordinate consultants, contractors.
- Have a good technical drafting capability, ideally with Revit experience.

Full-service architecture and interior design firm, located in Tysons Corner, Virginia, specializing in commercial office interiors for public and private clients is in search of passionate Project Architect to join our team. Ideal candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with space planning, design development, construction document development, construction administration, project management, client interface, mentoring and CAD for new office buildings and renovations. Must have a proven track record of ability to meet client expectations, manage consultant relationships, direct studio efforts and handle workload and scheduling challenges associated with multiple projects in various stages of completion. Excellent opportunity for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Requirements:
- Professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and graphic software.
- Experience directing and coordinating work efforts of junior staff.
- Advanced experience in all phases and aspects of a project including reviewing construction documentation.
- Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.
- Understanding of project management process.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative and professional work ethic.
- Leed ap or within 6 months of hire.
- Licensure required.
