Snohetta is an international, interdisciplinary architecture and landscape architecture firm with offices in Oslo, Norway and New York City. The New York office is working on landscape architectural projects associated with libraries, waterfronts, park planning, urban redevelopments, and public plazas throughout the Americas. We are seeking a landscape designer/architect who is committed to the creation and development of exemplary landscape architecture from concept through execution.
The candidate must possess:
- A range of 2-3 years of landscape design experience.
- Previous experience through all phases of design.
- Experience coordinating with a range of consultants and large project teams, including associate landscape, civil, electrical, traffic and structural engineers.
- Diverse project experience with an emphasis on urban public space projects.
- Proficiency with Autocad, Rhino, Adobe CS, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of grading design, planting design, materials and technical aspects of landscape architecture.
- Experience creating and participating in client presentations.
- A high degree of self-motivation, flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

We require a talented and motivated Individual with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, to join the existing team at Matthew Montague Architects. Project Running from inception to completion, communicating directly with Clients, a wide cross section of skills will be crucial. You should be out-going, personable and fully conversant with AutoCAD, with a good working knowledge of NBS and JCT contracts. We are a friendly and creative team, working from offices in the heart of Derbyshire. Due to our location a full driving licence and use of a car will be a pre-requisite.
