PGAL is seeking a Project Architect with 10-15 years of experience, aviation experience is a plus. Must be able to manage and produce documents in a fast-paced environment on multi-phase design/construction projects. Our firm performs a wide range of project types for both private and public clients, and has a culture that is energetic, collaborative and open.
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture. Licensed architect in California preferred, or must be eligible for licensing in California. Experience in multi-phase design/construction projects; aviation project experience a plus. Knowledge of AutoCAD and strong proficiency in Revit is required. Experience with Photoshop, Sketch Up and Rhino a plus.

Needed Senior Designer to lead and develop complex 3D projects and inspire project teams to ensure that an initial concept is developed, detailed and successfully delivered through to the final stages on time and on budget. Senior designers will be involved in every stage of the project and use key insights to build, present and sell a winning solution to clients. Also able to use juniors and grads to assist in delivery, leads projects, mentors others and appraises team.
You will be the key member of a team of 3. You will be responsible for designing and delivering 3D projects under the direction of the Associate Director, you in turn will provide guidance and direction to any junior members of the team.

- Demonstrate and contribute towards the scoping and planning of projects, and the time forecast analysis for projects at all stages.
- Able to prepare viable production information / estimates – can understand client’s needs and how these can be met in the most cost efficient and effective manner.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness through incisiveness of creative input to client briefs.
