We are seeking a Senior Designer with experience in hospitality, retail and multi-unit residential design to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Fast-growing hospitality architecture and interior design firm seeks a full time Senior Designer ger with experience leading high-end design projects from start to finish, including design conceptualization & development, space planning, client and vendor relationships, specifying FF&E, purchasing, construction documents, and construction management. Experience in hospitality design preferred.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture.
- Design background in hospitality, retail and multi-unit residential interiors.
- Minimum 5-6 years professional experience.
- Ability to produce millwork and interior construction details required.
- Solid experience in Interior Space Planning, sourcing and specifying FF&E and finishes, and proficiency in developing schematic plans into 3D concepts for a variety of large and small projects.
- Excellent presentation and people skills and ability to lead a design team.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Salary commensurate with experience.

Intermediate Architect

The Lawrence Group is a national architecture firm with offices in 4 US cities, with a total staff of about 150 people. The New York Office is seeking candidates for an intermediate architect position starting immediately. The office is a boutique design office with around 12 architects and designers.
Project involvement may include working on national retail design and roll-out, hospitality work or other building renovations in Manhattan and across the country.
Candidate qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 5-8 years professional experience in an architectural office.
- Excellent design and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent digital presentation skills, preferably including Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, methods and standard building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a minimum requirement; the firm has fully implemented Revit on all new projects.
