Ohlhausen DuBois Architects is seeking a Project Architect with the following qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in contemporary high-end residential work, both apartments & houses.
- Some experience with public & academic work a plus – new construction & renovation.
- Professional license and Leed accreditation strongly preferred.
- Experience with high-end residential detailing, materials & systems.
- Experience in technical detailing & construction administration.
- Knowledge and experience with codes & regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work effectively with clients.
- Experience in project scheduling, consultant coordination & managing a project team.
- Ability to maintain quality control and drawing standards.
Candidate must have:
- Excellent design skills and freehand drawing.
- Strong interest in materials and details.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills – Revit and Rhino a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Very good written and verbal communications skills.
- Aptitude for mentoring young designers.
- Strong inclination toward teamwork with an outgoing nature.

APC Architecture is a growing practice based in Northampton. We have been established for some 6 years, we are a friendly Chartered Architects practice who seek to design and deliver innovative buildings.
We have varied pipeline projects that include bespoke new build houses, residential conversions, care homes, industrial buildings and works to listed buildings.
You will manage your own caseload of work as well as working on team projects. The ability to build and maintain client relationships will be essential, in addition to having proven U.K. experience; the successful candidate will require strong design presentation and communication skills coupled with technical and Building Regulations knowledge and competence.
