Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with design teams to specify and source material and furniture palettes.
- Maintaining and growing relationships with furniture, material, and product reps.
- Researching and bringing in new materials and products to design teams and office in general.
- Occasional designing and detailing of interiors components.
Qualifications:
- Work examples that demonstrate an extremely versatile and sophisticated aesthetic sensibility.
- A highly professional ability to be self-directed and thorough with a close attention to detail.
- Love of searching for exciting new possibilities in materials, furnishings, and general concepts.
- A rigorous approach to translating a design brief or narrative into the appropriate solution tailored to each specific client.
- Familiarity with if not expertise in specifying, customizing, ordering, and/or managing the delivery of ancillary and systems furniture packages.
- Comfort with multi-tasking and collaboration within a context of fast-paced projects.
- Professional degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 6 consecutive years’ relevant experience (post-grad).
- AutoCAD proficiency and adobe creative suite a must, 3D (Sketchup) proficiency a plus.
- Some familiarity with NYC building codes.
- Currently living in NY area.
- Excellent English language communication skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employer sponsorship.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills and committed to achieving design excellence. Candidates must have a professional degree and should be a licensed architect or in the process of pursuing registration. Candidates must have comprehensive design skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, strong organizational capabilities, and enjoy working in a team-oriented studio environment.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Located / willing to commute to the greater New York metropolitan area.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture and/or training in art and technology, computer / digital art, or similar.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe CS Suite required; Rhino, Revit and SketchUp a plus, 3D printing, animation, and other media experience is a plus.
- Strong creative skills and technical background.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic and communication skills.
