Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of architectural design phases as required or needed.
- Prepare construction documents and coordinate with consultants.
- Perform construction administration duties including RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, etc.
- Conduct and document field observations to monitor construction progress.
- Coordinate documents, overseeing quality control and detailing of projects.
- Review shop drawings and material samples for conformance with design.
Required qualifications:
- Experience in high end residential architecture.
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters of Architecture.
- Communicate ideas clearly.
- Experience in all phases of design process: Concept to Construction Administration.
- General understanding of CBC, disabled access requirements, and consultant drawings.
- Proficient in all drafting techniques and understanding of working drawings.
- General knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
- Knowledge of code and building systems.
- Full proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Full proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Capability in 3D Studio Max and Vray preferred.
- Moderate understanding of residential detailing.
- Currently residing in and able to legally work in the US.
- General understanding of the Los Angeles Baseline Hillside Ordinance.
- Understanding of Beverly Hills building code.
