Project Architect is a project leadership position with responsibility for architectural design and technical production of projects.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead / assists a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design and the preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications.
- Collaborates with or serves as the Project Designer for the design of the project.
- Develops, checks and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project.
- Leads in organizing the drawing, BIM modeling efforts.
- Prepares the project code review.
- Coordinates the work of Consultants.
- Meets with client.
- Supervises assigned staff.
- Mentors junior staff.
- Follows established standards for project production and review.
- Keeps Project Manager and Principal in Charge informed of progress or need for assistance.
Key skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture is required.
- Healthcare experience required.
- Strong organization, communication, technical and graphic skills.
- Demonstrated experience in and readiness to lead the technical details of projects.
- Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design; 3D software such as Sketchup.
- Proficient with other data management software such as Word and Excel.
- License required.

A truly design oriented 8 strong practice based in east London is urgently seeking a highly talented qualified Architect to join their sociable young team to work on a complete diverse range of exciting small to medium size projects. Built projects range from galleries, exhibitions, residential, offices and mixed use so you will be exposed to a fantastic range of buildings.
You will be joining the studio as an experienced member of the team so you must be a competent all rounder with an excellent eye for design and detailing as you will be taking on a lot of responsibility.
This is a key role within the practice and ideally they need someone to join the team asap! Vectorworks skills preferred but not essential as training will be given.
