Our office is seeking a highly qualified Project Architect to join our firm full time. We are looking for energetic and motivated candidates who posses the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience on a diverse range of project types.
- Excel in working collaboratively and effectively on complex design-focused projects.
- The ability to lead projects through all phases of project delivery including scheduling, budgeting, design, permitting, and construction documents.
- Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building codes, building materials and methods.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entitlement process.
- Strong communication skills and proven project management skills.
- Knowledge of construction drawing organization and proficiency in CAD.
- Professional licensure and leed Accreditation is a plus.
- Vectorworks experience is also a plus.

Ben Herzog Architect, PC is seeking an experienced interior designer / specifier for high-end residential remodeling projects in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in residential design and the desire and ability to put together material palettes, schedules and specifications including plumbing fixtures, millwork, lighting, tile and soft materials. We are a small firm where everyone takes part in all tasks: design, drafting, management, office organization, taking out the trash, etc...
The responsibilities of this position include: preparing material palettes, schedules and specifications; sourcing and ordering furniture and fabrics; coordinating deliveries; meeting with clients and working closely with project managers; organizing and curating the firm's material library; taking thorough meeting notes and following up on required tasks.
Requirements for the job include:
- Significant experience in interior residential design (5+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An eye for detail.
