Found Associates are looking for a Senior Architect for exciting high-end luxury and commercial projects.
The candidate must have at least 5 years post Part III Architect experience and have an extremely in-depth knowledge of projects from end to end.
The following criteria are non negotiable:
- Riba Part lll or ARB registered Project Architect, With 5 years UK based experience post qualification.
- Must have excellent client facing skills.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years post part III UK experience.
- Must have experience running high-end residential (single occupancy) projects.
- Must be UK projects that the applicant has seen through from initial client contact to completion.
- Experience in single occupancy homes over 1 million, at least one new build.
- Must have experience in all work stages; be motivated and enthusiastic with good design technical skills.
- Must have excellent spoken English and communication skills.

Position overview:
The Interior Designer will work with the Design Team in the development of architectural projects from concepts to construction documents, with emphasis on the detailing, documentation of materials, technology, and systems as they relate to the building interior. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills as well as an ability to contribute to an energetic process.
Primary duties:
- Work closely with the architectural team to design interior spaces.
- Compose interior material palettes.
- Work with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators as required.
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
- Familiar with construction documents and ideally would have basic knowledge of interior code requirements. Must also be familiar with current accessibility codes.
- Base building finish selections and creating finish schedules for construction documents.
- Interior detailing, including millwork detailing.
- Create and maintain project finish schedule.
- Documentation and coordination of interior elevations, finish plans, and reflected ceiling plans.
- Select furniture and lead coordination of FF&E specification.
- Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process.
- Maintain and organize project files.
- Participate in the construction administration process through review of submittals and finish samples as required.
Qualifications:
- Architecture or Interior Design degree from an accredited program required.
- Architectural License or NCIDQ Certification preferred.
- Leed accreditation preferred.
- Minimum eight years of experience. The ideal candidate will have relevant built work experience. Experience with higher education projects will be considered a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor others.
- Strong technical interior detailing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.
- Construction management experience is preferred.
- Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional client service orientation and relationship building skills.
Technical skills:
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe suite preferred.
- Rhino and Sketch-up preferred.
