Seeking a Project Architect with solid high-end residential design and construction experience for projects ranging from NYC apartments to Long Island country homes. Candidates must be proficient with all architectural design programs and have strong digital modeling and rendering abilities.
Skill and requirements:
- Min. 3-5 years of work experience in all project phases of construction: from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Extensive experience in construction document preparation, detailing for high-end residential construction and interiors.
- Experience in both high-end interior renovations and single family wood frame construction.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Excellent 3D Studio MAX modeling capabilities w/ knowledge of Vray.
- Strong design and graphic abilities.
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, filing process, and zoning regulations is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Hard working, reliable, strong writing and communication skills.
- An open mind, ability to work self-sufficiently, and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks.
- Bachelors of Architecture degree & eligibility to work in the United States.
- Residing within commuting distance to NYC.

Midtown Architectural firm seeks a talented project architect to join the team on a permanent basis. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and a bachelor's degree in architecture with post-grad experience and exceptional project leading experience. The successful person will have ideally worked across a variety of sectors including multi-family residential, retail & commercial projects. Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design of multiple projects at all design and construction administration phases.
- Communicate with in-house staff, consultants and clients.
- Observe progress and quality of Work to determine if it is in conformance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings.
- Participate in site meetings and prepare minutes.
Candidates must:
- Have 5-8 year’s professional experience in design and construction administration.
- Have a professional degree from an accredited school.
- Be familiar with NYC codes and zoning.
- Be familiar with Landmarks Preservation Commission applications.
- Be AutoCAD proficient and computer literate/Vector works experience is a plus.
- Possess exemplary verbal and writing skills.
- Be proficient in the review of shop drawing, including millworks, windows, etc.
- Be a US citizen or be permitted to work in the US.
