Rapidly expanding Architecture and Interior Design firm seeking an Interior Designer for retail, corporate, hospitality and food service projects. This creative individual will work closely with the Senior Interior Designer and Architect in all facets of a project. Ideal Candidate will have experience in a similar role.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a similar role. Duties include conceptual design, sketches and renderings, furniture and material specifications, space planning, detailing and specifications, material boards and presentations, and move management and coordination.
Must be detail focused, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and a strong ability to convey ideas verbally and visually. Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial– preferably from an accredited program.
Experience with AutoCAD, 3D rendering programs (Sketch Up) and Adobe Creative Suite are required. Experience with Revit is a plus!

We believe that great design is the foundation of what we do – as the Architectural Designer our colleagues will look to you for your creative to maximise development potential. You’ll be responsible for assisting with the preparation of drawings for Planning and Building Regulation approvals, as well as the production of working drawings for construction purposes. In essence, you’ll be putting forward passionately created ideas that meet the criteria of our various internal and external consultancies.
You’ll be based from our Eastern office in St Albans and whilst the majority of the time will be spent in the drawing office, occasional site visits or visits to Local Authorities will be required. Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 5.00pm on Friday, with one hour for lunch.
You’ll be skilled at operating AutoCAD to a high degree of proficiency and preferably, you’ll have working knowledge of Google SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop. It goes without saying that you’ll be passionate about Architectural Design, and you stay up to date in all aspects of architectural planning and building/construction regulation.
