The residential interior designer role:
- Attending client and on site meetings.
- Reporting directly to the Design Director.
- Communicating and assisting designers with sourcing, preparing, designing and implementing schemes for private clients, show home properties.
- Undertaking surveys and measurements as required.
- Working on several projects at any one time, in an organised manner, developing a range of skills and experiences.
- Preparation of presentations and mood boards.
- Attending client installations and assisting onsite fitting team.
- Assistance in designing show homes and collaboration with the broader design team on larger projects where needed.
Key Attributes of the Residential Interior Designer:
- Hands on individual with a competent level of confidence and knowledge in AutoCAD and PhotoShop.
- Committed and dedicated individual.
- Well presented, with exceptional design and organisation skills with a high attention to detail.
- IT literate, proficient in Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and entrepreneurial qualities, both verbally and written.
- Qualification in Interior Design.
- Hard working with able to work on own initiative, multi task and to juggle a changing workload.
- An understanding and passion for residential interior design is a must.
- Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect with 8+ years of experience to support our current projects which include both multi-family and single-family residential, and office, institutional, adaptive reuse and mixed-used planning and development in the D.C. metropolitan region.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as architect/designer on built projects.
- Graduate Degree in Architecture from NCARB accredited program.
- Professional Registration and Leed certification preferred.
- Self-starter with strong conceptual and design skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of building codes, construction budgets, project budgets and other professional practice issues.
- Experience and advanced knowledge in project management, design, planning, programming, construction documentation and materials.
- Acts independently and decisively from a sound background in architectural principles.
- Experience and advanced knowledge in project management, design, planning, programming, construction documentation and materials. Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architectural practice.
- Required program experience: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Duties / responsibilities:
- Provide overall technical leadership for multiple and complicated commercial, institutional and residential projects.
- Seeks creative and innovative solutions through research and documentation.
- Generates project documents including plans, sections, details, and project manual in coordination of a complete construction document package.
- Performs material and building systems research and coordinates and prepares project specifications.
- Leadership role in construction administration and prepares punch-list reports.
- Interacts and communicates effectively and professionally with team members, consultants and clients.
- Manages junior staff on assigned projects.
