Realizing that the profession is rapidly being reshaped by technology, our firm is currently accepting resumes of individuals that believe themselves to be the blend of design, technology and of intermediate to advanced knowledge of building types. Candidates will be expected to have working knowledge of Revit or other similar BIM software, at least five years of architectural experience, and a strong desire to take initiative.

Opportunities:
- Provide leadership and creative design direction during the conceptual and schematic phases of projects.
- Motivate, manage, and mentor junior design staff in design skills and execution of project concepts.
- Work directly with clients, consultants, city officials, and other professionals to advance the design concepts and gain appropriate city approvals.
- Participate and manage cutting edge technology in the form of the BIM platform and other computer software.
- Collaborate with other MVE project architects to execute projects through construction documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum five years of experience in all phases of architectural delivery.
- Well-rounded experience with residential, multi-family, high-rise, retail, and mixed-use projects.
- Management and organizational experience.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe software.
- Licensure in the State of California preferred.

Fradkin & McAlpin Architects is a NYC design oriented architectural firm with a diverse portfolio of successful projects. We seek a self-starting, detail oriented, ambitious, flexible, and hardworking team player with excellent communication, drafting, technical, and leadership skills.
Project Architect 5-7 Years’ Experience with B Arch or M Arch.
Requirements:
- An architecture degree from an accredited program.
- 5-7 years of experience, including all phases of design and construction, especially in detailing and drawing.
- Experience in New York City.
- High end retail and/or residential experience is a plus.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch up, and Adobe CS.
- Must have project architect/project management experience.
