Design Haus Liberty is an architectural and interiors practice based in Central London.
We are looking for a talented Part III Architect with a minimum of five years of experience (with 3+ on UK projects) to join our growing team, with the ideal candidate having experience in residential design.
The successful candidate should be able to take leadership of a project, demonstrate experience in successfully taking a project through planning, have a concrete knowledge of UK Building Regulations, an understanding of residential design and quality standards, and ability in maintaining design intent and quality through design and construction detailing. The candidate should be pro-active, organised, passionate about Architecture, able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines, and able to work both with team members and the design team consultants. You should be proficient in using Autocad, Rhinoceros, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Candidates with experience in breeam excellent projects and revit is a plus.

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate team member with strong individual design and problem solving skills for immediate opportunities as an Intern Architect.
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare program and schematic proposal, project layouts and develop design in 2D and 3D for client review / approval.
- Perform design computations, specifications, compiles data and elementary architectural assignments.
- Assist with preparation of construction drawings and construction detailing for contractors.
- Review building codes to assure that design complies with the minimum legal standards.
- Assist in the construction administration phase by reviewing shop drawings and creating a master log of the project submittals.
- Prepare finish material sample boards, physical models and graphic presentations for client approval.
Key skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture is required.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years relevant architectural experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCad and Adobe Creative Suite is required. SketchUp, Rhino and other related design software is a plus.
- Leed accreditation preferred.
