Jacques Ferrier Architecture is looking for a 3D graphic and architectural designer with experience in the field of architecture.
In connection with the project team, candidate will create and develop computer-generated images, films and other visual media.
Candidate will work in every phase of the project, from concept, through competition and project development to under construction phase. Images will be use to improve and enhance architectural concepts, represent ideas and validate them.
Besides being connected with the project team, candidates will also be in contact with the IT manager in order to improve tools, calculation methods and software.
Candidate will also be asked to propose ideas to improve the visualization style of the studio.
The position will require:
- Excellent 3D Studio Max modeling and V-Ray rendering skills (Rhino would be a plus).
- A very good knowledge of post-production Adobe CS Suite software (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
- Candidate should have strong creative, graphic and technical skills as well as manage all aspects of the visualization pipeline including modeling, lighting, and texturing.
- Self-motivated, energetic, organized and able to work in a team.
- Photographic skills.
- Fluent in English.
Education background:
- Bachelor / Master in Architecture or 3-dimensional studies, but not required if unusual career.
JOHNSON NATHAN STROHE has an immediate opening for a Project Architect in our Denver office. A successful candidate will have the ability to plan, coordinate, and administer a given project by providing pro-active team guidance, direction, and support in the areas of technical detailing, constructability, and code compliance through all phases of project development and construction administration.
In addition, this person would be responsible for:

- Initiating and fostering a positive client relationship.
- Ensuring that design and construction meet Client program and firm design objectives.
- Ensuring that the project is completed within schedule and budget restrictions.
- Being aware and reducing liability issues for JNS, its Consultants and Clients.
- Establishing a cooperative working relationship with all consultants and vendors throughout the course of the project.
- Providing consultants with latest and accurate information including project schedule with critical milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinating among consultants with respect to project documentation and compatibility of systems.
- Assisting the Project Manager in project quality and completeness.
- Overseeing and direct drawing production and organization.
- Providing proactive problem solving to expedite team efficiency and workflow.
- Working with Project Designer to ensure design integrity through all phases of project.
- Reviewing drawings for quality, content & technical accuracy.
- Reviewing the project to ensure code compliance.
- Team support, guidance, training, and mentoring on technical and architectural knowledge.
Qualified candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Registered Architect, State of Colorado preferred.
- BS in field of Architecture, Master’s degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of professional experience in an Architect's office.
- Strong communication skills with clients, consultants and staff.
- Technical expertise in building materials, systems, detailing and specifications.
- Technical expertise in all related building and accessibility codes.
- Proficient in office standard construction document organization and assembly.
- Strong team and individual leadership, development, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow through on tasks.
- Well-developed analytical thinking and multi-tasking skills.
